What will this home really cost?

The purchase price is the start. Put in the site fee and what you expect it to rise by, plus the running costs, and the table works out the cost for year one and over five years. Every figure is an estimate; change any of them.

Uses the park's published fee and this year's rise. Parks that don't publish fees leave the estimate as it is.

North Denes Caravan Park doesn't publish its site fees, so the fee and rise are still estimates. Change them when you have a written quote from the park.

How we work it outThe site fee compounds at the annual rise. Depreciation comes off the remaining value each year, so the five-year figure is what the home has lost, not five times year one. Running costs and upkeep are held flat, which understates them. Site fees explained says what to ask the park for.
